Malaysian passports now reduced to RM200
The Immigration Department has reduced the application fee for the international passport from today.
Applicants aged 13 to 59 will only have to pay RM200 instead of RM300 for a five-year period, said the department’s corporate communications division in a statement.
Applicants aged 60 and above and 12 and below as well as Haj pilgrims will only have to pay RM100 while it remains free for people with disabilities, it added.
The statement said the department was abolishing the applications for passports for a two-year period, obtained at a cost of RM100, with immediate effect.
